My News:

RustyRedRecords gave feedback to Pattern Break for “Carnival”:
I really like the overall sound. The production quality on this is insane. Very clean mix. I don't really like the vocals or the lyrics all that much but that's just my personal preference in music. Nice Work. Respect.

Pattern Break  Thanks very much for the feedback, great to have a positive response about the production. A year down the line and now I think I would have written the lyrics about something else! I guess you never now how something will turn out until you actually record it. Cheers for listening : )  (Nov 30, 2011, 06:21 EST)

RustyRedRecords gave feedback to The Closers for “Show Me How”:
This is a pretty nice song but you guys need to use a popper stopper when you record vocals because there is feedback issues with certain parts of the song. The whistling section especially. It's a nice touch but it's ruined by the feedback. You can make a homemade popper stopper if you don't want to buy one with a wire hanger some electrical tape and pantyhose. It's an old trick but it works just as good. Other than that nice work.

The Closers  Thanks for the constructive feedback. Also, that's a nice logo. Where did you find it, or did you make it?  (Sep 26, 2011, 22:00 EDT)

RustyRedRecords gave feedback to Victoria Robinson for “Bloody Cape”:
That's a pretty innovative idea. I'm not really one for art only because I don't usually understand most of it. I'm not exactly sure how to react to this piece in particular. Maybe if you gave a longer description it would help some. I Like the idea behind the piece I think that in and of itself is brilliant. The best thing I think is to tell you how I feel when I look at this coupled with the title... Here's the result and I'm probably way off so try not to laugh to hard but... When i read the word BLOODY I automatically question why it wasn't painted red. When you add CAPE to that i automatically think of a superhero of sorts. Because of what the piece actually is (used paper towels) it makes it become almost like a personal history of yours being that each piece of paper has its own individual story. When you add all three elements together I come up with in my mind that this is the end result of going to war with a palette armed with paint, a brush, and your ideas. This piece being the end result of a long fought mental war it has all the pieces of used paper towels that you used to clean your brush on other projects (wars) you fought. Similar to the Bloody cape of say superman after he goes to war with one of his enemies. I don't know but that's how this makes me feel when i look at it. I hope I didn't offend you because like I said before I'm not very much of an art person. Anyway nice work. Respect.
