This sounds really cool! Any way you think your friend could make like alternative hip hop beats for me? :]

Interpret  Thank you! He's too busy with art school to mess with music anymore. Though I wish he were making alternative hip hop beats.

If you want more of his beats that I have, email me at: tritorres10gmail.com

And you can use any of my, inferior, beats if you wish.

Nice beat. Works well with the minimal synth in the intro. Reminds me somewhat of The Postal Service and Múm (that's a compliment). The various breaks add some unpredictability and keep it interesting throughout. Good stuff!

I liked it. Chilled and nice "bell" synth. My favorite thing about the track is the beat.

Badabinski gave feedback to Interpret for “Shoebox”:
Gotta say, for some reason this reminds me of a combination between Ratatat and Autechre or Aphex. Great synth work, beautiful, delicately programmed drums, and good usage of various effects. The only thing I might suggest is working on EQing those drums a bit punchier, but then again that's more a stylistic thing than something that'll make the song better, and it may be feed-forward's compression doing that to the drums. Good work, and keep it up!
