Well I wish your recording was better, because it sounds like it would be a great listen, but it is so muffled and the vocals are muted...

Megatherian gave feedback to WalaWalaWala for “Jericho”:
Nice groovy song, you guys have a good vocalist. The recording quality is fine, there are no problems there. You guys sound like you would play good festival shows. One EQ suggestion would be to maybe up the bass a little. There's a distinct lack of bass frequency in this track that makes it a little difficult to dance to. Other than that, good work!

WalaWalaWala  Thank you. As the vocalist, I really appreciate it :) I wish we had stuff that was better to dance to in general. We do like to play outside -- we played a four hour set -- no breaks for the Pittsburgh marathon last year, which was pretty cool + you can usually get better crowds outdoors :) Thanks again, -Shoham  (Dec 12, 2011, 19:37 PST)

Megatherian gave feedback to The Closers for “Lolly”:
This recording is strange, the vocals, drums and bass sound great, but the guitar is seriously having some tone problems. The clean tone is fine, but the distorted guitar sounds too treble heavy. There's no depth to it, which may just be a gear issue. Other than that, everything's awesome.

The Closers  Thanks, Did this one a few years back. I kind of like the tone our guitarist got out, but it was a bit rushed, if I recall...  (Dec 13, 2011, 06:46 PST)

I like that little 15/16 (or some equivalent fraction) thingy you have going at the beginning. It keeps you from being able to do a straight head-bob at first which made me notice when it went to 4/4 at 1:10ish. Really cool beat manipulation. The synth is really good sounding, especially the bass. I really like your work, please upload more!

Megatherian gave feedback to Patrick Jenkins for “Somniloquy”:
Writing as I read, I love the song-picture. Beautiful guitar tone, recording is well done. Beat comes in well and in a good place. Cello is also really well recorded. Doesn't sound scratchy or overly boomy. Already hooked. Listening to the rest of the song..... Really good builds. The atmosphere is really well put together with the guitar and beat. The beat establishes a really solid groove throughout. Not a lot that I could say to improve on. I really like the diverse array of instruments that you're using for this. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more of your stuff in the future!

I can't help but be reminded by the Barenaked Ladies by this song. I laughed when I read the lyrics. This is a really funny and pretty well done song. I like the vocals, but they need to be a bit more on the beat. Sometimes there is a miniscule deviation from the digital drums and it gets distracting. Another thing is that the guitar tone could use some tweaking because, as the only guitar part in the song, it needs to stick out and sound good to the ear. This is all opinion of course, but I think these things could really send the song into overdrive.

Megatherian gave feedback to nick langley for “Cracks”:
Had to listen to this twice. The ending is very good. I like songs that go somewhere. You seem to have a good amount of skill with composition, that is definitely a powerful strong point to have. I really liked how the song was pretty much a constant climb up to the chaos at the ending. Songs like this get people like me to listen twice simply because they want to make sure that the beginning ACTUALLY ties to the end. And yours definitely did. Very well done.

Megatherian gave feedback to Sam Bennett for “Pleasantries of Footsteps”:
Beautifully relaxed composition. Everything is solidly done, but doesn't feel like there was a lot of time hunched around a metronome getting things perfect. That's a compliment I swear. It makes the song feel mellow. When the weird delay effects came in it made me stop what I was doing and see what the song was up to. It was a cool idea that worked well. The vocalist also sounded really good, the mellow voice reminded me of Maudlin of the Well. You should check them out if you get the chance.
