Slopejaw gave feedback to WalaWalaWala for “Anchor”:
Intro is sweet, what really made it count was bringing it back in around :46. Vocals are tight, they fit the songs vibe really well. Can't complain about the lyrics, they work. I'm a drummer personally, so I always give that an advance look; and I would've loved to see a bit more creativity with the drum patterns and fills.

Better than I anticipated, nice work!

WalaWalaWala  Thank you! Glad you got some value out of it! Probably our best track, I think!  (Mar 06, 2013, 04:36 EST)

Love the intro. The guitar is excellent. Your vocals are excellent as usual. The recording quality of this song is excellent. The mix and master is spot on. Great track man.

I really like the piano in your songs, especially this one. Also, your cover art is cool. Reminds me of blue raspberry/cherry coke combo slushie!

s.a. zober  Cool! I don't even usually like auto-tune. Reminds me of Bryan Vaughn http://www.feed-forward.net/BrianVaughn -- don't you think?  (Jul 07, 2012, 00:00 EDT)

Gabrielle  I haven't listened to all of Bryan(AKA: BRIAN!) Vaughn's stuff, but yes, reminds me of him. Both are great. Thank you for your time.  (Jul 09, 2012, 23:13 EDT)

I like the first couple of minutes and the last one as well, but from about 2:30 until around 3:30 it lost my attention, because it got a little too basic, in my opinion.

I think that the middle part needs a little more syncopation, but again, I was really digging the rest.

Thank!

Ian MacPhail  Basic is what I was going for... A "nice-sounding" section, where nothing really happens. I also tried to get away from the metal feel of the original..  (May 27, 2012, 22:16 EDT)

Ian MacPhail  Do you know if I get notified if someone buys a track, if the price is set to 0.00$? Like, if they download it for free then will I know?  (May 28, 2012, 18:30 EDT)

Ian MacPhail  Aha! :D Thanks.

I really wish there was a good way to upload and sell pdf sheet music... Something where I can upload a pdf/zip file, as well as a jpeg preview.  (May 28, 2012, 21:34 EDT)

s.a. zober  Cool idea. I'll definitely look into it. It might be tough to move sheet music these days...  (May 28, 2012, 21:46 EDT)

s.a. zober  I see what you mean. I mainly mean that moving sheet music commercially might be a major challenge -- is there a market?  (May 28, 2012, 22:45 EDT)

Ian MacPhail  I would think it would be less so for original songs, but midis are useful too... I know I really liked learning simplified versions of piano songs I liked, as well as variations.  (May 29, 2012, 02:08 EDT)

s.a. zober  Good point. We're working on something related, I'm still not sure that there's a huge market for sheet music, even for classical masterpieces, and there's the issue of copyright for more modern works...  (May 29, 2012, 16:49 EDT)

Great drum beat. Vocals remind me of some '80's new wave bands (I can't figure out who -- very garage band though could be from the 60's I'm thinking of...). Very experimental, but still with a nice pop sound I like it. Thank you :) New tunes on the way?

s.a. zober gave feedback to Via Coma for “Iron Horse”:
I always love your guys stuff. Vocals sound very clear. Very nice harmonies, and I like this syncopated keyboard thing, too. Quite a tight production overall. I wish I could give you some suggestions, but I can't think of any at the moment, just keep on going!

Also, how do you make your cover art? Just Photoshop, or something else?

Via Coma  We're actually using pieces of the same artwork with some photoshop help for color effects, and text overlay and that's it.

Very flattered by your comment *blush*  (Mar 25, 2012, 11:19 EDT)

s.a. zober  Very cool. Any shows coming up? Also, I've been working on some music compositions. If you get a chance let me know what you think of this one: http://www.feed-forward.net/w.3798_4GLB I think it turned out pretty good. Thanks -Shoham  (Mar 25, 2012, 11:29 EDT)

Ted Kindig gave feedback to WalaWalaWala for “Anchor”:
This is a really cool song Shoham! That unusual, somewhat dissonant guitar riff is quite interesting on its own, but it also serves to make the release in that garage-pop "na na na" part hit even harder. The vocals are a perfect blend of emotive and technically strong; always great to hear WalaWalaWala on the front page!
 Feb 01, 2012, 12:36 EST
WalaWalaWala  Right on, Ted :D I'm quite proud of this one -- the riff actually came from Angkor Wat in Cambodia, where I was one time years ago. The second part of this piece is called "?" (as in "What" -- get it? Anchor ? (What) Angkor Wat, haha!). Kelly B made a video for us for it here:
http://www.feed-forward.net/w.3603_Q_&theater Both are free downloads by the way. Thanks again-- a lot. Anything new on the way from you? -Shoham  (Feb 01, 2012, 12:48 EST)

Ted Kindig  Computer issues have kept me from recording lately, but I've got a couple of new songs on the way. I've also been doing some practices with a band, so hopefully we'll have some fuller rerecordings up at some point too!  (Feb 01, 2012, 13:05 EST)
