It is good, man! Kind of has a Irish roots feel to it. I think this might be my favorite of yours. It is really high in energy, man. Great, great, great!

Probably getting to sleep early. Seriously though, I cannot hear this, b/c this internet cafe is broken and is not a cafe at all. Could be the altitude too... Wanted to ckech in anyway, did you get a chance to check out this tune:

Absolutely love this song.

I don't know how you could not like those lyrics along with your voice. Simply great.

WalaWalaWala  Thank you! This is a recording I like a lot, myself -- done in one take. It isn't the 'official' version, but I think that it's better when the feeling is right, sometimes, rather than having 'the real version'. Glad you like it -- one of the first songs I ever wrote -- around 1997!  (Aug 29, 2011, 11:38 EDT)

Thanks for the free download! Very cool tune-- I love the Waltz rhythm, and the unusual subject matter. Very Paris, 1880!

WalaWalaWala  Thanks for the + feedback! This one has a sad back story, but I think you're right. It's basically a pretty cool tune :)  (Aug 08, 2011, 14:29 EDT)

Gremlin gave feedback to WalaWalaWala for “I'm Leaving the Play”:
Really diggin' the vibe on this track. Sort of has an old tin pan alley/minstrel show feel to it which is refreshing.
The lyrics are probably my fav part though, with their lightheartedness.
Y'all seem to be a tight band, keep cranking out the good tunes. : )

WalaWalaWala  Thanks! It's a free track. One of my favorite recordings of ours, esp. considering it was sort of on a whim. Thanks again. Wrote this when I was suicidal-- true story, but yeah it should be funny, sort of :D I love the old tin-pan-alley, vaudeville, style etc.

Not sure why but reminds me a bit of Decembrists, i like the style and they lyrics...harmonizing is great-verses sound a bit (empty?) but i think its just the recording quality of the drums...keep it up its really enjoyable to listen to :)

WalaWalaWala  Thank dipper! It's a free download too. This recording was done live (at a band practice). I like it more than the 'final version' we got, but it is lo-fi. Thanks again. -Shoham  (Apr 18, 2011, 06:31 EDT)

Very nice. This is a pretty original sound (to me anyway), and I was impressed by how something seemingly simple could be so good.

WalaWalaWala  Thanks-- greatly appreciate. Decide to set it for free based on your + feedback :D It's inspired by old-time vaudeville, which I like a lot.  (Apr 17, 2011, 22:55 EDT)
