JZC gave feedback to Chris Hoffmeister for “A King's Lament”:

Chris Hoffmeister  Thanks! and yeah, it's all me. I have to work on my mixing chops a bit but I think I'm improving.  (May 16, 2013, 15:11 EDT)

s.a. zober gave feedback to Chris Hoffmeister for “A King's Lament”:
Airy stuff. I like it, Chris!

I feel as if the composition and performance is very solid. I like the direction you took it around 1:45 -- very true to what I think the concept is based on the tags and title. Cool use of the chorus effect on this track. I like the little drum rolls as well.

I feel as if you could add a bit more texture starting somewhere around 3:15 or so, keep building it up more until the change at 3:31.

I also dig the tension that you build here down the stretch and the finale. I like where this is going, man, keep going!

Thank you,
Shoham

s.a. zober gave feedback to Kode of Bliss for “Binaural Movement Test”:
Very cool tune -- ambient, indeed! I love the new direction, kelly! I think that it is about the right length; however, I feel as if it could be a part of a larger piece...

Thank you,

Kode of Bliss  LOL I have too many new directions, thanks for listening. Did you listen with headphones to get the 3D effect?  (May 09, 2013, 17:06 EDT)

I like it, man! I´m not that familiar with this piece, actually, but its a cool rendition, and makes me want to check out the original rendition.

Speaking of rendition, did you ever see A Clockwork Orange™? This piece makes me think of the scene where Alex is listening to a futuristic disco-techno version of Ludwig Van´s nineny ninth and is walking through the mall.

Very fun, thanks. How did you make it?

Kode of Bliss  I downloaded the free MIDI file from the Internet and imported in in to FL studio then went through and replaced the instruments with synths and mix and mastered it. There is a part at 6:10ish that has an annoying sound that I need to fix before I add it to my Classical Voltage album.  (Jan 09, 2013, 17:18 EST)

s.a. zober  Yeah, I liked this one. Should be a really good fit for the new album! -S  (Jan 10, 2013, 14:07 EST)

Kode of Bliss  Classical Voltage is not the New Album that I am working on, that is "Off the Lit Path". Classical Voltage is just an album that I periodically put these classic conversion tracks in to. It is a free album on here and Google Play.  (Jan 10, 2013, 16:41 EST)

s.a. zober  Off the lit path. Thats what I was thinking of. Yeah, I have that album, then. How did your live show go???  (Jan 10, 2013, 17:13 EST)

Kode of Bliss  The show was OK I suppose. The Audio was not very good in my opinion and did not do my music justice. In the end I felt it was a waste of time. Oh well I will just keep plugging along making ho hum music.  (Jan 15, 2013, 12:31 EST)

s.a. zober  Your music is awesome, dude! NO joke. I tell you what I really think, and when I don´t like something I always let you know, but your music is very good, and keeps getting better. I honestly think that making connections is key. We artists are all like protons, carrying a positive charge, all too often repelling our equals. Each connection you make is like fission, one step closer to iron!!! -Sho  (Jan 17, 2013, 11:20 EST)

Raum  Hello there Dr. Lucas.

I am a sucker for 50's and 60's ballad type rock songs. Glad you enjoyed it!  (Oct 27, 2012, 14:22 EDT)

s.a. zober gave feedback to Chris Hoffmeister for “Alchemy”:
Very laid back tune, I enjoyed it very much.

It could use a little more bass at times, and a lot more bass at other times, I think, but otherwise I really liked the overall quality of the orchestration and themes.

I especially liked the little drum riffs, and the chorus from 2:45 on :-)

Thank you,

Chris Hoffmeister  Thanks! Yeah, looking back I feel like an upright bass would have been nice to at least accentuate some parts. I'll probably revisit it at some point. :)  (Oct 10, 2012, 21:27 EDT)
