Brother Hawk gave feedback to The Middlemen for “The End”:
The song is cool, and I actually like the rawness of the recording.

The Middlemen  Thanks, man. I don't know what happened to the 'official' recording. It was a little more rocking, but I am glad you dig this one. Just me and a guitar, w/o the band...  (Mar 05, 2013, 12:50 EST)

Harry Q Bovik gave feedback to The Middlemen for “The End”:
It's a nice song. I'd like some more bass-line.

A great catchy song in it's simplest form.
Very nice vocals and good rhythm.

s.a. zober gave feedback to The Closers for “Show Me How”:
This doesn't suck*! Seriously though, folks. The vocals are very smoky, I can say like this??? Needs a mouse-hair more bass-line...

"Show Me How"?!?! More like "SHOW ME THE KARMA!"!

Thanks,

Ian Marquis gave feedback to The Middlemen for “The End”:
I really enjoyed the mix between the direct-recorded acoustic guitar, piano, and vocals in this song. Very clean, balanced, and immediate. Good job, guys!

The Middlemen  Great. Glad you liked it. here's a better version on an iMac somewhere in a landfill in New Jersey, LOL. Actually, we have a whole E.P. We'd love if you'd check it out, and it's a free download, too! http://www.feed-forward.net/a.11_Turn_It_Up_and_Change_the_Channel  (Sep 11, 2012, 08:52 EDT)

Scott Wells gave feedback to The Closers for “Own My Own”:
nice piano line. this song really suffers from production quality. im pretty sure its mixed in mono and your vocals are getting drowned out.
 Aug 07, 2012, 14:43 EDT
The Closers  You're pretty much on point, which is sad, but true. Man, if my vocals could be something other than drowned out now and again that would sure be nice...! It's a quirky chord progression. I'll see if I can recall it. This was recorded like 7 1/2 years ago, so it was actually tape, and just awful acoustics. Thanks for listening, for sure, though!  (Aug 07, 2012, 17:50 EDT)

Mr. Rogers + Clint? How can I not like it? really enjoyed the whole thing, but I think the staccato style chorus was my fav part.

The Closers  Thanks sir! This is from what we call our "Broke Back Set" :p Here's a rough one from the same set: http://www.feed-forward.net/w.1014_Show_Me_How_&market Thanks, and glad you like this one. Wish we could get a better cut, one of these days... Glad you liked the stacatto too, still hashing the lyrics, though.  (Jul 22, 2012, 22:30 EDT)
