s.a. zober gave feedback to Ted Kindig for “Soundbite”:
Always a pleasure, man... Not sure how I missed this one before. Very different from most of your others, though. Has a really misty, mature feel to it. I thought I had heard all of your stuff, but this is really different, and rich. I´m surprised -- pleasantly so! I´m not crazy about the vocal effect around 3-3.5, but everything else is pretty awesome!

Any ne works in the works....?

Thanks, Ted,
Shoham

Gremlin gave feedback to The Middlemen for “Starstruck”:
Very catchy. I like the mixing on this track. Can't put my finger on why though. Just refreshing to my ears I guess.

I like the megaphone type vocals too. My only complaint is I wish the drums were a little fatter in the mix. : )

Great work guys!

The Middlemen  Thank you. It was written and recorded during the height of "The Strokes" first album, so that might be the part of the production that is catchy? This one actually got some radio time!  (Nov 26, 2012, 16:20 PST)

Gremlin  I get more of a Tom Petty vibe from it, like Damn the Torpedos era. Either way, neither are too shabby to be compared to.  (Nov 27, 2012, 12:30 PST)

Great composition. I like what you did with the vocals. I think that the balance is all around very good, although at times the guitar is a little bit louder than it needs to be, IMHO.

Great lyrics, and the band sounds tight as a tick -- no offense Mrs. Backner ;)

Jazzy! Recording quality could have been a little bit better. Sounds like you were going for a live feel, and that's a good thing, but I think that your music is very good, so I'd actually like to hear a little better recording of this stuff.

Thanks,

Awesome work. The sound just washes over you like a wave of audible heroin. Explosions In The Sky-esque.

At first I thought 7 minutes would be extra boring because I'm tired/lazy, but it went by quickly and enjoyably! Very subtle changes throughout. Super relaxing.

sky flying by  heh yeah ambient can be a bit, challenging, i'd say :) my musical background isn't in this kind of thing so i like to keep things a bit more lively. i try anyway. thanks for listening!  (Sep 23, 2012, 19:01 PDT)

I think the music is really interesting and sounds good. I'm not used to growly singing, soo that sounds scary to me. First song I've ever heard about a sloth. Wow, and talking part at the end. All kinds of interesting stuff going on!

Movie soundtrack-sounding! Very relaxing and flowing, too.

Raum gave feedback to WalaWalaWala for “Sometimes Why”:
Could you possibly message me over the chords to this song? Along with the "That's Alright with Me"?

I would like to cover these two asap.
 May 26, 2012, 00:47 PDT
WalaWalaWala  Awesome. This one is really pretty simple: D A E with some some E7s and A7s sprinkled in -- TAWM is just E, E7 B7 and A A7 then back to E, E7 for the verses, and A, A7, E, E7, B7 for the choruses. Let me know if that's not info info. Thanks again!  (May 26, 2012, 03:43 PDT)
