Pattern Break gave feedback to s.a. zober for “4GLB”:
Nice, sequenced I gather, rather than played. Picture is very fitting, reminds me a little of that film 'The Road'.

s.a. zober  Thanks, man :-) The pic is an early Van Gogh, I'm glad you liked this piece, and you're right, I can't play piano this well at all...!  (Oct 08, 2012, 05:00 PDT)

s.a. zober  Thanks -- I've got to get back to making these kinds of compositions -- they're time consuming, but they're fun to make and rewarding!  (Sep 05, 2012, 16:35 PDT)

whats the picture of? I'm intrigued. I can't figure it out. Did you use a computer to make this or a real piano?very powerful piece--strong....

s.a. zober  Thanks. I think this is of some kind of Dead bug or something that Daryll took a picture of with a hi res camera!  (Sep 03, 2012, 08:03 PDT)

Strings sound so classy and dramatic. I like it! Yeah, definitely too short.

Ian MacPhail  Do you think a retrograde would suit it well?  (Aug 14, 2012, 16:57 PDT)

Gabrielle  I don't know what that is! Like playing a tape backwards or am I totally off? Tried to look it up but not sure if I get it . . .  (Aug 24, 2012, 20:16 PDT)

Ian MacPhail  It's playing it backwards, basically :)  (Aug 26, 2012, 22:36 PDT)

Gabrielle  Oh, okay. Yeah, I would like to hear how that sounds, cause it sounds like it could be backwards now because of the arrangement of notes. That might be really interesting.  (Sep 09, 2012, 20:54 PDT)

Cool tune. Too short!

Gabrielle gave feedback to Chris Hoffmeister for “Delusion's Illusion”:
Really pretty in the beginning and exciting then erie in the middle. I think the first part going into the second is a good transition since it slowly builds, but the second part has so much drama that going back into the first part towards the end maybe needs a more gradual transition to ease back into it, if that makes sense. If they will be three separate songs, though, they compliment each other well.

Chris Hoffmeister  Thanks for the input! Yeah, I definitely want to add more voices to the overall mix but basically I want to extend the beginning, add some different instruments to the first build up so it's not so repetitive and I'm not too sure what to do with the middle as of yet. I was kind of toying with the idea of keeping it so dramatic with a sudden ending, have that fade out and into the beginning melody but i'll mess around with your idea, see if I can come up with anything good.  (Jul 16, 2012, 18:33 PDT)

Beautiful little piece. Quite gentle and nice in the first part.

Almost disturbing in the second part, and then a very energetic finale. I love it. Keep going with this, I'm eager to see where it will go!

What did you use to make the strings, they sound good, especially for midi.

Thanks for writing this and sharing it as well,
