More awesome stuff. Love the harmonies, Brian. Vocals sound very clean, as well. What do you use as a DAW? Lots of win here. Multi-talented, very impressive!

Brian Vaughn  Hey Shoham,

Thank you so much for the kind words. :)

Today has been so hectic for me that I've only had a chance to hit "upload" on a track and then walk away for an hour working on paper work. (I'm in the middle of trying to refinance my house.) I haven't yet gotten a chance to dig in and use the site any.

To answer your question though, I'm a Cubase user. A (mostly up to date) list of the software I use for recording is on my site here: http://briandavidvaughn.com/gear

And... wheew, if you found the drum machine you found some old stuff. That's from back in '04 or '05 I think. I'd kind of forgotten about it. I used to use Fruity Loops for synth stuff back then so the drum machine was my noob attempt at replicating some of the basics of it for a school project. :)  (Apr 23, 2012, 11:37 PDT)

s.a. zober  You're welcome. I would definitely pimp out your drum machine if you upload here, loved playing with it, and I KNOW others will too. Best of luck with the house! -Shoham  (Apr 23, 2012, 12:09 PDT)

The boys are back, hell yeah! When are you going to be playing out again?

Good mixture of sounds here, my friends, good mixture -- it's like Jane's Addiction, I feel.
Good drive on this.

Great flute tone, guys. Really impressive. Rhythm section sounds strong underneath it as well.

Gotta love the transition at 1:45 and Irish punk vox as well :D Liked, and "liked".

How often do you guys practice? This sounds very well rehearsed, and tight.

ncaband  every week probably. at least once. Mainly we learn a song during practice, and then instantly record it . Its easiest that way haha. Thanks for the feedback again mates!

Awesome! Great vocals, great mix, you're off to an awesome start with the new lineup. Please come to Pittsburgh, and please stay in touch!

Sad inspiration, but a very important core message you guys are telling. This is the kind of stuff I wish we were hearing more of these days.

Thanks for keeping punk alive,

The Middlemen gave feedback to Lorenzo Pagano for “I Hit My Head”:
Sorry about your head! At least the music that came out of it is rocking :) Are you planning to add any vocals to this?

The main riff is solid, and the drum track sounds nice, the only piece of advice I would have is maybe syncopate the drumbeat a little bit more, make it a little bit longer, and add some vocals, but I like the underlying rhythm and chord structure of the piece.

Thanks :D

the ScreamS gave feedback to The Middlemen for “No Reply”:
Excellent. You can really do somethin' with this stuff.I'd use a different guitar sound & let it go for an extra bar.A kinda "All along the watchtower" return & send - it'd suit the song title - just constructive critique

The Middlemen  Thanks for the idea. We'll keep it in mind for the next time we record this one! Do you have any other recordings coming yourself? Also, all of our recordings are free downloads :D  (Oct 17, 2011, 19:28 PDT)
