I think this is a good start. I'd love to hear more tone and emotion in your vocals, though. Also, you might want to rework your verse melody/chords a bit - I immediately thought of Bad Company's Shooting Star when you started in. Keep it up, man!

Fuck, yeah! I've never heard of "National Folk" before, and this is not what I expected, but it's pretty cool- melody reminds me a bit of Shooting Star by Jackson Brown.

It's got a good nostalgic, Americana vibe. Keep on writing your music-- I approve :)
