I like the beat. Still, I think that it could use a lot more little futuristic little electronic motifs, throughout. You've got some interesting beats, throughout, but I feel as if there is plenty of low end, and not enough high end on this one. That said, it seems as if you are going somewhere with this early wip. I am excited that you are back writing, and am looking forward to what comes next!

It's cool. Not too complicated, which I like. I am not a great scholar of electronic music, but I know what I like, and I like this. It has something of a Mark Mothersbaugh thing to it -- he has done lot of work, most famously for Devo (American 80's new wave band), Rugrats (American cartoon), and more recently on Yo Gababa Gaba (a children's variety show). As a drummer I like how the drums sound, but those cymbals are very noisy.
Try reducing those and you have a song that's even better than many of the known songs of this genre!
