I liked most of the piece except for me the distortion part at the end kind of ruined the mood this piece took me to. I noticed someone else liked the distortion, and that just goes to show ya everybody has different tastes. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed. It is supposed to be almost indecipherable after the 2 minutes, and then it slowly builds with synths until it dies in distortion, don't worry, it's not just your speakers.

Interesting note: the entire piano part was improvised on the spot with no prior planning. I can't write music! I wish I could.

Yeah, me too. I'm a singer, and play a little guitar, but I usually play in bands, and it's not always easy to communicate my ideas with bandmates who have more expertise (esp. on their instrument) than I do. I figure, over time, if you try you pick up more and more-- I think I have, and hope to continue to do so. It seems like piano would be harder to write using, without a technical background.

I like it. It could have gone on much longer for me. I was listening on little laptop speakers so I didn't get that low end, but it sounded good!
You've inspired me to try some more ambient stuff now
